In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout
the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.
| ACE | Selects the awardees for the Agriculture award, and the Conservation / Environment award presented by the club each year. Sponsors/ organizes the FFA luncheon where outstanding students receive a "Sassman" certificate. | Auction | Plans and promotes the annual fun fundraising auction. The committee also assists in the conduction of both a silent and live auction during a regular meeting normally in the month of May. The funds raised are used for budgeted service projects of the club. | V Wildermuth |

| Citizenship | The Citizenship Committee has a number of monthly programs: conducting Oakwood Village Bingo for nursing home residents, cooking and serving a Saturday meal at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center, and volunteering with the Red Cross Bloodmobile. It also provides the Salvation Army with volunteer bell-ringers twice a year, does Highway 19 clean-up twice a year, volunteers at the Independent Living annual Ice Cream Social, and volunteers for Wisconsin Public Television pledge/membership drives twice | Carroll Heideman |

| Golf | The golf committee plans and executes our club's annual golf outing. The Downtown Madison Kiwanis Annual Golf Outing was started by long-time member, Herman Freymiller, in 1989. | Inter-Club | Purpose is to exchange ideas for improving club vitality, to mutually support fund raising activities, and to take advantage of educational and recreational opportunities in the community visited. | Web Site Committee | The website committee is responsible for the development, administration and maintenance of a club specific web site. The committee establishes web related policy and content. | YCPO/Youth Services | Works to provide enriching and fun educational experiences for preschool through high school age children in the Madison area. Our priority is providing resources to low-income, minority and special needs children to help them to achieve their potential.
